The Gower Camps, run by the Gospel Halls in Swansea and district started in the early 50s - the idea was to give all kids the chance to have a summer holiday in beautiful settings of the Gower under the care of volunteer workers who want the Love and Truth of God to the centre of Life. 

Initially in Oxwich then Llanmadoc we have now been in Llangennith, by the good grace and kindness of a local farming family for over 50 years. 

Just 15 minutes walk from the beach and 2 minutes to the foothill of Rhossili downs, several generations have now passed through and the experience and memories live on.

In order to  keep the costs as affordable so that no one misses out, much effort is made to keep costs as low as possible - with the giving of individuals and churches being significant as well as all workers and helpers giving up their time and using their skills to bring a 6 day £60 4 hot meals a day break to this generation. (as well as a break to tired and hard working parents left behind for the week!
